Lionel Messi claims that long-rumored Barcelona goal Lautaro Martinez is an “impressive striker”. This is especially relevant as the Inter hero appears to be tied to the side of La Liga of late.
“I believe I’ve already said that Lautaro is an amazing striker, and I know he’s a really complete forward,” Messi told Mundo Deportivo. “He’s strong, he dribbles well, he scores goals, he knows how to defend the ball … but well, we’re going to have to see what’s going on with him and other players at last.”
Martinez has been linked to Barca for many months, scoring 16 goals in 31 games this season for Inter.
While Messi says he is uncertain whether rumours are real, the Barca star says he will be happy to play at the Camp Nou with his countryman: “If I’m honest, I don’t know very well whether talks have been going on or are going on right now, I have no idea.”
