Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo have become the two greatest stars in football…for (another football legend) Kylian Mbappe atleast.
“They both have left their mark in the history of the game-and I want to leave my own chapter in the history books too,” Mbappe told the Daily Mirror (via Marca) when asked who he was looking up to.
He explained, “First Zidane for everything he achieved and his involvement in national team and then it was Ronaldo. Ronaldo has won so much and still remains a winner even after so much success.”
For a long time, the mutual appreciation between Mbappe and the Real Madrid coach has been known, adding only to the speculation that links him with a move to the Spanish capital.
