Roberto Mancini, famed Former Inter Milan manager, recently argued that Zlatan Ibrahimovic needs to be treated as being highly regarded as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi and Ronaldo are generally regarded as the two best players of their generation, having won 11 of the last 12 Ballons d’Or between them. With a shared total of 1,422 senior goals scored, they are popularly hailed as perhaps the two of the greatest footballers of all time.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no less, having independently has scored 540 goals in his own distinguished career. Ibrahimovic, who now plays for AC Milan, has won 33 different trophies throughout his career, including 13 league titles throughout four different countries.
Roberto Mancini, who has managed Inter’s Swedish International for two years, claims that he is one of the greatest strikers ever to have played the game. “Zlatan will be remembered as one of the greatest forwards of all time,” Mancini told Sport Mediaset.
“I put him on the same level as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He won the league title wherever he went, scoring a ton of goals. He’s done well at Milan too, this season, but I don’t know what his plans are for the future,” Mancini went on in his praise of Ibrahimovic.
