The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has reported that Manchester City can expect to know the outcome of their appeal against Champions League ban in early July.
CAS said in a statement: “The decision is expected to be issued in the first half of July 2020. The exact date will be known in advance.”
Manchester City was under investigation in February after they were reported to have performed “serious breaches” of UEFA’s rules on team licenses and financial fair play (FFP) regulations.
UEFA planned to ban the club from the European competition (CL) for the next two seasons and to fine them with € 30 million after finding them guilty of the Financial Fair Play regulations.
The champions of the Premier League attempted to overturn the decision since its announcement.
