In one of the final matches of the 27th round of the German Bundesliga, RB Leipzig beat Mainz in a clean 5-0, returning to third place in the standings.
The hero of the match was the triple scorer Timo Werner, who scored goals in the 11th, 48th and 75th minute.
Yussuf Poulsen also scored a great goal in the 23rd minute and added two assists. Marcel Sabitzer scored in the 36th minute.
With three new goals, Werner reached the number of 24 goals this season in the Bundesliga. Ahead of him is only Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who is the league’s leading scorer with 27 goals.
