According to reports in Spain, Arsenal is reportedly contemplating a summer move of 22-year-old Eder Militao from Real Madrid.
France Under-20 international William Saliba is set to formally move to the Emirates Stadium ahead of next season, having spent the entire loan period with Saint-Etienne.The Gunners are supposed to be on the lookout for at least one center-back, though Militao appears to have been reported as a potential arrival in North London.
As such, Arsenal is keeping a close eye on developments as they weigh up a bid during this summer’s transfer window.
Madrid reportedly told the international of Brazil that it will not be sold before the 2020-21 campaign. But the news of Arsenal being linked to Militao can be supported by the rumours that the head coach of the Spanish team, Zinedine Zidane, is said to have been unaffected by the defenseman’s success this term.
The 22-year-old from Porto joined Los Blancos in a big-money move last summer but found it difficult to make his mark at Bernabeu, with just 13 appearances in all competitions.
