The fitness coach of Olympique Lyonnais has revealed that ‘I hope Lazio will take the Scudetto home and we will strike the final blow on Juventus.’
“I hope Lazio take the Scudetto home and that, the next day, Juve play for progression having lost the title,” Paolo Rongoni told Radio Incontro Olympia.
Lyon leads 1-0 in their Last-16 Champions League tie with Juve, but the Bianconeri should be able to finish their season, while Ligue 1 is already over for Rudi Garcia’s side.
However, he did admit to Juventus still being a strong oppoisition:
“They’ll certainly arrive in better condition than us after 12 games. The only thing that could give us the edge is if things aren’t going well for Juve.
“That would create an internal tsunami. I hope a huge mess erupts within their squad and that we strike the final blow. It’s the only way we can improve our chances.”
