Manchester United defender Luke Shaw surprised everyone by answering the question of who was his toughest opponent in his career.
Shaw admired Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Bale or Hazard, but said that Victor Moses was actually the hardest opponent he has ever faced.
Shaw then played at Southampton and Moses defended the colours of Chelsea. Moses, now on loan at Inter, was a real nightmare for Shaw. The Nigerian was one of the Blues’ best players in the 2016/17 season, when they took the title of champions of England under the direction of Antonio Conte.
“People always think I’m kidding when I say this, but one of my hardest matches was against Victor Moses when I was 17-years-old in Southampton,” Shaw said.
“It was a real challenge for me – fast, powerful, direct. I played against players like Bale, Hazard and Messi and they were all very tricky, but I still consider Moses as my toughest opponent,” Shaw told to English media.
