Lucas Torreira’s agent reported that, after two years of playing for Arsenal, the Arsenal player ‘would love’ to return to Italy.
Indeed, Milan and Napoli have both already been linked to getting the 24-year-old back to Serie A in recent months.
“Lucas had some differences with his coach and was a bit annoyed about it, but then he bounced back,” Pablo Bentancur, his agent, told Tuttomercatoweb.
“The injury came after that, but luckily it’s not as serious as we feared it would be. Now he’s completely recovered and I think he’ll be a wanted man in the transfer market,” he added. “I still have to talk to Arsenal. The player would love to return to Italy, although it must be acknowledged that Arsenal have treated him very well.”
Torreira had played for Pescara and Sampdoria before transferring to Arsenal in the summer of 2018. Still, the Uruguayan made no secret of his desire for life on the peninsula.
