League One clubs have voted to curtail their season without playing to finish it.
“League One Clubs have voted by an overwhelming majority to formally end the 2019/20 season,”.
Following a decisive vote on Tuesday afternoon, League One sides agreed to end the 2019/20 season immediately with the final league positions determined.
Coventry have been promoted as champions and Tranmere have been relegated. Rotherham will also go up automatically to the Championship. Bolton and Southend join Tranmere in being relegated to League Two.
The League One play-offs will begin, with Wycombe, along with Oxford, Portsmouth and Fleetwood, replacing Peterborough in the top six. The match schedule-all of which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports-has yet to be reported.
