Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly afraid that Chelsea will be locking him out of a summer exit.
According to The Sun, Kepa fears that Frank Lampard’s side would prohibit clubs from signing him ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
When he joined the Blues from Athletic Bilbao in August 2018, the Spaniard became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, but he largely failed to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.
Before the division was postponed in March, Kepa was on the bench for four out of Chelsea’s five Premier League games, though he has only kept six clean sheets in 25 league outings this term.
Allegedly Chelsea is already putting together plans to replace the 25-year-old as they weigh up a £ 15 m bid for Roman Burki from Borussia Dortmund, who is out of contract next summer.
Valencia is thought to be interested in signing the Spain foreigner this summer among other clubs, but Kepa is worried Chelsea will not let that happen.
