According to Italy star agent Joao Santos, Juventus has not reached out to him regarding his client Jorginho.
“I hear only from the newspapers about these rumours because no one from Juventus contacted me,” Santos told TuttoJuve.com.
They must talk to Chelsea instead if they wish to sign Jorginho, he said:
“Maurizio Sarri appreciates him very much as an individual and a team, they worked together very well, but that’s all there’s to it right now. The team is centered solely on Chelsea, he’s started training and is planning to revive the Premier League.
“Today, it would be challenging for the Bianconeri to buy him because the transfer market has changed with the pandemic and until 2023 Jorginho has a contract with Chelsea. He’s the vice-captain and has considered the squad to be a significant player.
“I’m not just talking about Juventus but all the biggest European clubs are going to struggle to pay that much for one player right now.”
