Juventus is the likeliest to sign Olympique Lyonnais star Houssem Aouar, according to L’Equipe.
It is thought to be a two-horse race between Juve and Manchester City. But there is one very important advantage for the Bianconeri because of Manchester City’s ban in the Champions League. There is a two-year suspension levied on City by UEFA for violations of Financial Fair Play by the Champions League.
Aouar turns 22 later this month and has scored nine goals in 37 competitive games this season and seven assists.
His Lyon faces Juventus in the second leg of their August 16 tie Champions League Series.
The 21-year-old is a member of the youth academy of the Ligue 1 club. They have already put their star midfielder on the market, which can bring in a tidy profit.
