Inter announced the negative return of all COVID-19 swab and blood tests on players and staff.
Each Serie A club puts its squad and workers behind the scenes through blanket testing, including at least two swabs and a sample of blood.
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that all the results of Friday’s club players medical tests, coaching staff, management staff and the rest of the team group have returned as negative,” read a statement.
Regardless, if someone is found to be positive for coronavirus before group training begins on Monday, they are to be isolated.
The medical protocol has not yet been finalized for what happens if a player tests positive after group training has begun. The government wants the entire squad to be quarantined for 15 days, while the clubs and Players’ Association are pushing only the infected figure to be isolated.
