Aston Villa Captain Jack Grealish has enhanced security at home by spending £25,000 on a new guard dog.
This happened just a week after Dele Alli was robbed at knifepoint. The Tottenham midfielder was held up with his brother, his partners, and another man last week at his £2 million North London home.
The Sun reports that Alli, who was robbed of expensive jewellery and watches during last week’s arrest, had asked two companies to buy his own dog.
And according to The Sun, a number of Premier League players are now investing in specially trained dogs to help ensure they’re not going through a similar ordeal.
The Chaperone K9 security service has provided dogs to a number of big names, including Manchester City midfielder Raheem Sterling, Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford and former England defender Rio Ferdinand.
Grealish has become the new celebrity to use Chaperone K9, and this week the Belgian Malinois has received a distribution value of £25,000.
The 24-year-old posted the picture of his new dog to his Instagram account, adding a heart-eyes emoji.
