Getafe has decided to donate tickets for next season to the fans who bought them for this year’s still-unfinished championship. In all, there are expected to be 13,500 annual tickets distributed for free.
“We will not charge them, the fans will come to the stadium for free. In La Liga, 13,500 of them will have free seats. I will pay for that,” club president Angel Torres told for Radio Marca on Thursday.
Of the “League Five” the first will be resumed by the German Bundesliga on May 16, under strictly controlled conditions and in empty stadiums.
The interrupted season in Spain should resume in mid-June. It is quite certain that the rest of the season will be played without spectators in the stands.
