Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett said the Real Madrid forward is not going to join the Major League Soccer team.
In a conversation with ESPN, the agent said that the latest rumours about the transfer to MLS were “rubbish.”
The future of the Madrid forward, who is also a Wales International, is looking increasingly grim. Earlier this month he announced that he will consider a move to Stateside in the future.
David Beckham’s Inter Miami team has also been urged to give Bale a path out of Bernabeu, but Barnett has all but ruled out a move this summer.
Bale, who still has two more years to complete his Madrid deal, has also been called a priority for Newcastle United and his former Tottenham Hotspur club.
