European clubs are gradually coming back from quarantine and returning to training. In the near future English teams should also resume trainings and begin preparation to continue the season for the English Premier League.
However even if the season in English superiority resumes, fans will not be able to attend the matches of their favourite teams any time soon.
There is a possibility that the whole next season of the EPL can take place with empty tribunes.
“I’ve seen a report from the England Department of Health and the head of the medical department. They made it clear that the social and health situation of citizens will not change in the next six to twelve months. It’s important that people understand that. We must be prepared for all options.” EPL medical adviser Mark Jillett told The Guardian.
