Crystal Palace cancelled a summer trip to take part in the Queensland Champions Cup in Australia, while Professional Darts Corporation announced further changes to its calendar.
Along with most other professional football leagues, the Palace witnessed a forceful cancellation of their immediate plans for the team. They continue with their resolution of the current campaign still in the air.
Steve Parish, Chairman of Eagles, said: “First of all, the thoughts of all at the Crystal Palace Football Club are with everybody affected by this awful virus here in England, Australia and around the world.”
Palace was due to fly Down Under as a preparation for the 2020-21 season, but the coronavirus pandemic saw them cancel their plans.
