Hernan Crespo described Lautaro Martinez as a “complete player”. He wants to snub the player from becoming a Barcelona forward in lieu of remaining at Inter.
“I would like him to remain at Inter as it was his first year as a starter,” Crespo said on YouTube to David de las Heras while debating the future of Lautaro.
After an outstanding season in San Siro, Lautaro is being closely linked to a move to the Liga giants, scoring 16 goals in 31 games in 2019-20.
Ex-Inter and Argentina striker Crespo, though, insists that a fellow countryman will remain there before going on to develop himself further:
“I wish he had a little more solid grounding before another change comes. Trains slow down at the best stations and Lautaro is one of them.”
“He’s a really serious, focused boy. I really like that. He’s got a lot of personality.” Crespo said in praise of the player. “He is a full player who can play alone as well as assist another footballer in attack.”
