Massimo Cellino, director at Brescia, has confirmed that he wants Sandro Tonali to snub transfers beyond his homeland in favour of joining with either Juventus or Inter.
Cellino has already confirmed that the highly-rated 20-year-old is desired by Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, but he personally believes that the player is against against moving far from the homeland.
The president of Brescia told Corriere dello Sport: “In Paris, Nasser Al-Khelaifi needs him, he wrote to me, but Tonali doesn’t want to move to France.”
Additionally, “Before COVID, Barcelona had a 65 million bid plus two very fascinating young players: one was a full-back. I guess the Catalans got the message that they didn’t like and not from Tonali.”
Indeed, Cellino assumes that Tonali is going to disregard the interest shown in him from Parc des Princes and Camp Nou because he is looking for a good bid from Milan or Turin:
“Destinations he likes are Inter and Juve. I have been offered 40 million by Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis, Fiorentina needs him too, but his destiny is pretty much written.”
However, he also added: “I have no dealings with anyone. There are already 12 games to play and the boy must keep calm.”
