Inter is said to have been dreaming of a move for Real Madrid loanee Achraf Hakimi, who scored a brace against the Nerazzurri in Europe this term.
The Morocco International is priced at €50 m by Real Madrid after contributing three goals and 10 assists in its 26 Bundesliga matches to the BVB.
The right-back delivered excellent results which, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, prompted Inter to look for the resources to start negotiations with Los Blancos.
Victor Moses seems likely to leave Inter when his original loan agreement expires, as CEO Beppe Marotta does not appear able to pay the €12 m negotiated with Chelsea in January. And Hakimi has been named as the potential replacement for the Nigerians.
Meanwhile, Juventus have also targeted the right-back. The Nerazzurri (AC Milan) too dream of getting him to San Siro, but the newspaper says that the route may be too difficult for the Italian giants.
However, Hakimi himself has sought consistency on the loan to Borussia Dortmund this campaign. After all, he has displayed his talents on the biggest stage in European football, with four goals in eight games for Die Schwarzgelben in the Champions League.
