Jadon Sancho was one of Borussia Dortmund stars who risked public safety for hiring a celebrity hairdresser for home visits. He, and six other team players, have received much censorship over the move.
According to Bild, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Guerreiro, Manuel Akanji, Thorgan Hazard, Axel Witsel, and Dan-Axel Zagadou received home visits from star coiffeur Winnie Nana Karkari to cut their hair.
Moreover, photographs published in the German daily show that neither the players nor the hair stylists engaged in the obligatory use of face masks.
“It’s pretty common that after all these months our guys have to get their hair cut.” Dortmund answered Bild when questioned about the story. “But it’s definitely a no-go from both sides not to wear a mask. We’ll remind our players very, very clearly about that. The hairdresser should ask himself about his behaviour too.”
