Barcelona aims to offer a contract to Lautaro Martinez which instils optimism of the forward moving there, despite the current state that there is no deal with Inter Milan.
According to Sport.es, Lautaro awaits the outcome of the two clubs’ talks and his desire is clear: to move to Camp Nou. He has apparently already negotiated a five-year Barça contract worth 12 million euros plus annual bonuses.
Barça neither confirm these reports, nor deny them. They’re focused only on the Inter negotiations. The club realizes Lautaro wants the transfer and hopes to promote one of the summer’s largest deals.
Barça and Inter seem to be still negotiating an agreement for the player. Barça planned an operation that would include two players in addition to 60 million in cash, while Inter want 80 million.
The two clubs are coming closer to an agreement and the Blaugrana hopes that something will come in as soon as possible.
In February, talks with Lautaro deepened, following interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City.
There have been different conversations and they have convinced him that he will be an important player. Inter had granted permission to continue the talks with these two other clubs as well.
