reports that the Arsenal players are angry at the club’s management because they feel cheated.
Arsenal recently won the FA Cup and the fans hoped that the London club would have better days, but new problems appeared at the Emirates Stadium.
The Arsenal fans ’association has already approached the club to investigate what happened, and the players have requested an urgent meeting with the club’s leaders.
What has actually happened is that the management has gone back on their word, that too in a pandemic.
In April, the Arsenal players agreed to a 12.5 percent salary cut, but on the condition that none of the club’s employees be fired.
However, four months later the Arsenal management prepared dismissals for 55 club employees.
“We are facing a much more significant and long-lasting reduction in revenue than we had hoped. The decision was difficult to make, but there are several reasons why we came to this point. We are aware of how disturbing this is for everyone at the club,” Arsenal said.
It must be said that these players of Arsenal have displayed noble and honourable behaviour in defending club employees in a crisis.
